Signs You Are A Hoarder

Hoarding is not just a form of greed, it may be a medical condition. Yes, medical suffering from hoarding is a major issue with some people as they hoard things to excess.

The worst of it is that a person who suffers from this sort of condition has a great deal of trouble trashing whatever it is that they hoard. Their house just fills up and fills up until there is no room for the normal activities of life.

To more effectively help you to understand and foresee thing medical difficulty, we will offer some of the top symptoms. Remember this can be hard to research because there are several names for this condition. Some call it compulsive hoarding and others view it as a form of obsessive compulsive disorder.

1. If your living space is cluttered you are on your way to being a hoarder. Your counters and closets and floors will be a mess and even your car may be a mess.

2. If you find yourself wanting to hold on to all sorts of things, then you may be a hoarder. One of the first signs is that you do not get rid of anything.

3. If you are finding that you have a difficult time getting thing organized and that the problem is getting worse, this is a sign you may be a hoarder. This organizational problem generally extends to your brain and you fail to think organized. This can lead to real life challenges.

4. If things get worse, then you may feel that you need to guard the things that you have collected. You may feel that people will break them and then not allow anyone to touch them.

5. This soon leads to backing away from family and friends that you were close to. You are protecting your stuff, but the backing out of society is not healthy for you.
